Welcome to Canine Crews' Walk & Wag Club!

Calling all Chicago Dog Owners! We understand the challenges of urban living with a canine companion. That's why we've designed our Walk & Wag Club to provide real-time training for one of the most demanding aspects of urban dog ownership. Join us navigating the bustling streets of Humboldt Park, West Bucktown, or Logan Square on a weekly basis.

Led by experienced dog trainers, our outdoor classes offer a unique opportunity to tackle urban walking challenges head-on. From proper introductions to dogs and people to foster safe and social interactions with fellow local dog owners, our club is all about creating positive experiences for you and your furry friend. At Canine Crews, we believe in a few key philosophies that guide our approach to dog walking:

🐕‍🦺 A Loose Leash Approach: While a tight heel has its place, we understand that it's unnecessary for the entire walk. Instead, we focus on teaching dogs to walk calmly and comfortably, allowing them to explore their surroundings while maintaining control when passing triggers.

🌷 Embrace the Sniff: Dogs experience the world through their noses, and we believe in letting them indulge in this natural behavior. A sniffing dog is a fulfilled dog, gaining both physical exercise and mental stimulation from their walks.

👟 Your Dog's Walk, Your Dog's Pace: Every walk is unique, just like every dog. We encourage you to determine your walks by time rather than distance, understanding that some days may be shorter or longer depending on factors like weather and environmental stimuli.

🐶 Proactive Training: Recognizing and addressing triggers is key to a successful urban walk. We teach proactive techniques to redirect your dog's attention before they become fixated on potential triggers, rewarding good behavior along the way.

➕ Patience and Positivity: Dog training is not always linear, and not every walk will be perfect. We encourage patience and positivity, reminding you that both you and your dog are doing the best you can. Stay optimistic and celebrate the small victories along the journey.

Join us at Canine Crews' Walk & Wag Club and embark on a journey to confident urban walking with your canine companion. Together, we'll navigate the city streets with ease and enjoyment. Let's wag and walk!
